What are the symptoms of Stroke?
Symptoms of stroke include:
- Trouble speaking or understanding speech
- Paralysis or numbness of the face
- Problems seeing in one or both eyes
- Headache
- Trouble walking or dizziness
- Loss of balance and coordination
In order to quickly detect stroke use:
B- Balance (check if the person has balance and coordination)
E- Eyes (check if the person has blurred vision)
F- Face (check for a droopy face on one or both sides)
A- Arms (check for weakness in arms or legs)
S- Speech (check for slurred speech)
T- Time (if all of these apply call 911 immediately)
